1 Training course certification

Exemplar Global runs two programmes for training providers: Recognized Training Provider (RTP) and the Training Provider and Examiner Certification Scheme (TPECS). Under these it certifies courses or assessment outcomes against ISO management-system schemes such as quality, food safety and occupational health and safety.

2 Individual certification

Its certifications include auditor schemes for QMS (ISO 9001), EMS (ISO 14001), OH&S (ISO 45001), ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001), BCMS (ISO 22301), EnMS (ISO 50001), food safety (ISO 22000), IT service management (ISO 20000) and medical device management systems, plus an internal management systems auditor, a management systems implementation consultant and a risk manager (ISO 31000) certification. Grades are described as auditor or lead auditor.

3 Points to note

• Exemplar Global says it recognises training from providers certified with it (including under the earlier names RABQSA, QSA and RAB) for 10 years from completion for its management-system schemes, though some schemes need training within the last three years.
• It lists recognition agreements with IRCA/CQI, PECB and CCAA.
• None of the UK courses we list was titled as Exemplar Global certified when we checked, so ask providers directly if you need this scheme.
