Privacy notice

ISO Me collects as little as possible. Last updated 3 October 2026.

1 Who we are

ISO Me (iso.me.uk) is an independent information website. Contact: hello@iso.me.uk.

2 What we collect

  • No accounts, no forms, no tracking. The site has no sign-up, no contact form and no advertising or analytics trackers.
  • Server logs: like most websites, our web server records basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to profile you.
  • Outbound link counts: when you follow a link to a training provider through our /go/ address, we count the click (date, link name and the page you came from). We do not store your IP address or any personal details with it.
  • Emails: if you email us, we use your message only to reply and delete it when it is no longer needed.

3 Cookies and browser storage

Public pages set no cookies. The only cookie is a session cookie for the site owner’s admin area, which visitors never see. Checklists and quizzes may remember your ticks in your own browser’s local storage so they are still there when you come back; that information never leaves your device and you can clear it in your browser settings.

Links to training providers, ISO and certification schemes take you to their websites, which have their own privacy policies. Videos, if we add any, only load from YouTube after you press play.

5 Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
