Short courses explaining what changed when a standard is revised — such as ISO 9001:2026 and ISO 14001:2026 — and how to audit or implement the new requirements. From a few hours to two days.

2 What it involves
When ISO publishes a new edition, certified organisations get a transition period to move across, and auditors need to know exactly what changed. Transition courses compare the old and new editions clause by clause and practise auditing the new or changed requirements.
2026 is a busy year: ISO 9001:2026 (September), ISO 14001:2026 (April) and ISO 19011:2026 (May) have all been published, and ISO/IEC 27701 and ISO 37001 had new editions in 2025. ISO 45001, ISO 22000, ISO 22301 and ISO 31000 are under revision.
CQI and IRCA place transition courses at the Practitioner level. Note that some courses offered before publication were based on the draft (DIS) text — check that a transition course covers the published standard.
