About
About ISO Me
ISO Me is an independent UK guide to ISO management-system qualifications and how to prepare for them.
1 What this site is
We set out, in one place, the ISO standards people train in, the levels of qualification available (foundation, internal auditor, lead auditor, lead implementer, conversion and transition), the schemes that certify courses and auditors, and the UK providers that run courses — followed by study plans, checklists and practice questions.
We are not ISO, a national standards body, the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI), IRCA, PECB, Exemplar Global or a training provider. We do not run courses, set exams or issue certificates.
2 Why it exists
The site began with a simple brief: list the ISO qualifications on offer and explain how to prepare for them. We could not identify a single body called “CFA” offering ISO qualifications, so the guide covers the main UK providers and certification schemes instead.
3 How we check facts
- Standards: the current edition, amendments and revision stage come from each standard’s page on iso.org; transition dates come from UKAS technical bulletins where they exist.
- Schemes: course levels, typical course hours, exam formats and auditor grades come from the schemes’ own websites (quality.org, pecb.com, exemplarglobal.org).
- Courses: course names, durations, delivery and certification are copied from each provider’s own course page, which we visit and date. We leave a field blank rather than guess, and we do not show prices because they change often.
- Practice questions are written by us. They are not real exam questions.
Clause headings mentioned on this site are given for orientation only; to study a standard properly you need the standard itself, available from ISO or BSI.
4 How the site is funded
Some links to training providers may become affiliate links, which can earn us a commission if you book. This never affects which courses we list or what we say about them. See our affiliate disclosure.
